Well, I also know most of the choreography and I feel like I have it down pretty well because I practiced a ton. HOWEVER, even I (remember I am a vocal teacher not a dancer) need to continue to practice. I just practiced with the DVD this morning and was thinking woah, Heather watch those arms. That wasn't perfect. On "That Man" I will be the first one to say I NEED to work on keeping my arm up on the charleston part (Chorus). There were a few other things that needed fine tuning. I am sadly not performing with you, BUT I will still continue to practice and improve because I require that of you. I will never ask you to do something that I will not also do! So with that being said. Start practicing in a mirror or in front of a parent, friend, or sibling who is in show choir with you and start doing a little constructive criticism. CONSTRUCTIVE means, give one good thing they are doing.
For example:
Wow, your facial expression was just amazing… do that more, and also make sure your pointing your toe right there.
You have that part down, but you should work on that next part a little more you are so close to getting it perfect.
When you move to your next spot move like you are still dancing… stay in "character"…you are a PERFORMER! Entertain the audience.

Speaking of moving to your formations. Don't forget your formations, remember windows, and SPREAD OUT! Last Saturday you were all pretty sketchy. I am still working on getting that 17 min video loaded on youtube… you need to memorize your positions, and visualize your lines. Know when and where you are moving before you move!! : )
IT'S ALL ABOUT CLEANING UP THE DANCES NOW, AND BUILDING STAMINA SO YOU CAN SING IT OUT LOUDLY AND DANCE AT THE SAME TIME FOR 22 MINUTES! TRUST ME THAT IS NOT EASY! LOL I WAS SO OUT OF BREATH FROM TALKING AND DANCING ON THAT DVD! SO PRACTICE IT A TON!!!
